A tested quicklist of appropriate, approximate for air fryer cooking times.
FYI: This list was tested in Fillip, my Philips Air Fryer. Fillips is a Philips Daily Collection, HD9216 – the smallest (and IMHO, the cutest!) air fryer they had at the time of our purchase.
Note: All these times are just approximate and to be used only as a guide. Always check the food and determine if more time/heat is needed.
- corn; wrapped in al foil with salt, pepper, butter – 200C, 15 mins
- dried prawns – 160C/5mins
- egg; hard boiled – 130C, 15-16mins
- ikan bilis (anchovies) – 140C/10-12mins
- lemon julienne/zest: dehydrate and light fry julienned lemon rind. Suitable for storing till needed:
• top/light: 100C; check every 5 mins
• bottom/darker: 140C; check every 5 mins - nuts: cashew nuts (roasted with some salt., opt): 160-170C/5-8mins
- nuts: peanuts – 140C/10-12mins
