Broccoli Growing Guide
Sow (when, temp, soil, location)
- well cultivated soil
- sow thinly (5mm deep) in punnets
(or sow directly in clumps – thinning to one seedling per clump) - spacing: 60cm (2ft) apart
Harvest/Germination
- germination: 7-12 days
- harvest: when middle heads are well formed, just before flower heads open (12-16 wks from sowing)
New spears will replace those cut
