Celery Growing Guide
Sow (when, temp, soil, location)
- sunny
- soil: rich, moisture retentive
- sow 5mm deep in punnets – keep moist during germination
- transplant: at 2-4 leaf stae
- spacing: 25cm (9″) apart in blocks (helps keep heads together & encourages blanching)
- harvest: cut at ground level

- germination: 14-21 days
- harvest: 12-14 wks
Care/Watering
- well watered
- remove any side shoots forming at base
- feed regularly

Our Celery Progress
I am starting from seeds. All my attempts at regrowing from stalks failed. The stalks all rotted before they had any roots or could be transplanted.
