Nasturtium Growing Guide
Botanical Name: Tropaeolum majus
Sow (when, temp, soil, location)
- Fertiliser: add BEFORE sowing. No more after (to prevent leafy growth rather than flowers)
- sow: early Spring – Autumn (Autumn only in warmer climes)
- Sunny position
- will flourish even in poor soil
- sow: 12mm/0.5″ deep – directly in postition
- keep soil moist & well drained
Harvest/Germination
- Germinate: 14-21 days
- Harvest: n/a
Care/Watering
- keep soil moist
- thin out to 25cm/10″ apart
- occasionally pinch out growing tips to encourage growth
