What to do with leftover lemon zest after making Limoncello? One of the popular options is sugared lemon zesty candy. I might do thatnext time but this time, i made myself some salted/seasoned (opt) Lemon Pepper spice.
I reckon the Lemon Pepper spice will be handy for barbequing fish, grilled chicken, lemon accented gravies, and generally, be very versatile.
This is my very ad hoc recipe. Add qualities to your own taste.
Steps
- Dry the leftover lemon zest. (Can be done in low heated oven or dehydrator. I chose to gentry dry it above our wood heater.)
