Below is short-hand version for myself.
Substitute or adj. qty according to personal preference
Serves: 1
INGREDIENTS
(A)
Cover at least 1 min in boiling water, covered. Drain. Peel. Roughly chop. Into saucepan
- 5 fresh tomatoes
(or 1 can of drained chopped tomatoes)
(B)
Can put directly into saucepan
- sugar ½C
- vinegar ½C
- salt 2tsp
(C)
Finely chopped and directly into saucepan
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic
(D)
Mix together into smooth paste
- curry powder 2tsp
- mustard powder 2tsp
- cornflour 1½T
- vinegar 1-2T
- (opt) sweet corn
Steps (summary)
- (A), (B), (C) saucepan.
- Bring to boil.
- reduce heat – Med. Gently cook 15-20mins
- Stir in (D). Cook till thickened.
- Into sterilised jar. Refrigerate when cooled.
