Never tasted salsa. Didn’t quite know what it was. But as part of the WFPBNO (Whole Food Plant Based No Oil) Challenge on Facebook, I decided to make and try it. Also I wanted to make “queso” which was also another item in the same wfpb challenge and also another item I had never heard of. I was going to need some salsa to make the queso.

- tomatoes – can &/or fresh chopped
- garlic – 1 clove; roughly chopped
- onion – half; roughly chopped
- cilantro leaves – ¼ C
- capsicum – ¼ to ½ C
- lime juice – 1T (opt. lemon juice)
- salt – ½ tsp
- black pepper – opt.
