I cut potatoes into small cubes n soak in water for half hour to get carbs out . Peel about four small onions. Put small onions , chilly padi n lots of dried prawns n dry blender n blend ... not too fine though. Heat oil in pan , added blended stuff, some chilli powder n cook for a bit . Then add drained potatoes, salt n vinegar . Don’t add water . Cover pot so water comes from potatoes.. keep frying adding some oil at a time to make it brown well . Then add chilli flakes ... later take out potatoes n drain on kitchen paper. Cover with kitchen paper to get out excess oil ... then eat . The trick is adding dried prawns n vinegar
Note: can be made vegan by omitting the dried prawns. I haven’t made this yet (as of 20 Apr 2021). Will add more notes when I do….
